- Do tour participants need the MobiTour app on their phones?
- No. Only the tour leader needs the app. Participants receive ready-to-use MobiTour tags.
- Does MobiTour work alongside a tour guide audio system?
- MobiTOUR does not replace the audio system. It complements it with group monitoring and an SOS signal.
- Can seniors use it easily?
- Yes. The buttons use clear icons and the tag hangs on a lanyard around the neck. It is simple for everyone to use. A tag can have from one to six buttons; for seniors, choose the one-button version.
- How is MobiTour introduced in a travel agency?
- It is very simple. The tour leader downloads the mobile app. Once the coach is under way, the leader walks through the coach and gives each traveller a tag. Scanning a MobiTour device with NFC on the phone immediately assigns that tag to a specific participant and their name.
- Can I use MobiTour with large groups?
- Yes. MobiTour works with groups ranging from a few to several dozen people, outdoors and in cities, with a range of 30–40 metres. It works offline and does not collect personal data.
